Product Description
At the first glance, it’s a holder, for example, a candle holder. Actually, I think that in an urban setting it is best to use this piece as a candlestick or an incense stick holder. But in fact this wonderful wooden sculpture is a chair.
Every man of the wild tribes of Southern Ethiopia has its own private portable chair on which he can rest during a long journey or simply sit in a circle of friends. Each tribe has its own design of such a mobile device, and this cute three-legged stool belonged to the representative of the tribe of Bene – one of the brightest and most colorful tribes of the Omo River Valley.
Height: about 25 cm
Important: The chair is made of wood and has lived in Southern Ethiopia for a while, so it has slight characteristic odor. The smell is not unpleasant, it’s just there.
