Product Description

“Rainfall in the Ethiopian Forest” is a very unusual decoration. Forty rows of vertical threads jet down a special frame like a real downpour in the African forest. Soft chain supports the central part of the decoration with a comfortable clasp at the back.

Many people seem to think that Ethiopia is a total desert, yellow, burnt, in general, a kind of “African”. However, when you go there you can see that this country (as well as all of Africa, in fact) is incredibly green, filled with lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Hectares of forests are located in the Southern Ethiopia, at the Omo Valley. In the rainy season which begins in Ethiopia in May and ends in September, the forest turns into some kind of a live giant ball of crumpled leaves, branches, drops, and something else barely perceptible, but extremely fragrant.
